Following the overwhelming success of last year’s Nextcloud Summit, Nextcloud is proud to launch its second edition of the Nextcloud Summit, taking place on 9 June in Munich, Germany.

During this unique event, we want to address the wider market around digitally sovereign collaboration technology, providing a space for organizations, governments, and experts to connect, exchange ideas, and find practical solutions.

With keynotes, discussion panels, and fireside chats, this exclusive one-day event bridges the gap between tech experts and business leaders. By doing so, we can connect innovators from around the world.

Who is the Nextcloud Summit 2026 for?

Nextcloud Summit 2026 is centered around a clear vision: making sure attendees can take back control over their data. You can expect:

• Concrete use cases from public administrations, universities, and enterprises already building sovereign infrastructures
• Practical insights on security, compliance, and data control you can apply immediately
• Hands-on demos and expert sessions focused on deployment, scalability, and integration
• Direct peer exchange with professionals facing the same regulatory and operational pressures
• Ecosystem expo & networking with partners shaping the European open source landscape

If you are responsible for IT strategy, digital policy, infrastructure, or innovation in your organization, this Summit is designed to give you clarity, direction, and actionable next steps.

Digital sovereignty taking the forefront

As we know, we are facing growing concerns over data control, regulatory pressure, and dependency on Big Tech. That’s why deploying sustainable, secure solutions is more urgent than ever.

The Nextcloud Summit is a space for those who want to be part of the solution, be it in the public sector, private sector, or independent tech experts.

What’s more, you will be able to meet like-minded professionals during dedicated networking sessions and a post-event rooftop gathering.

New speakers and agenda topics are announced every week!

What to expect from this unique event

With a focus on digital sovereignty, the Nextcloud Summit 2026 tackles one of today’s biggest challenges: empowering people and businesses to take charge of their own data.

Together, we will explore questions such as:

• How can you leverage cloud collaboration tools for hybrid workforce productivity?
• How can you ensure compliance with local data regulations, such as GDPR?
• What is trending today in cloud innovation in Europe?
• Who truly controls your data, your collaboration tools, and your digital future?

This is your opportunity to discover the latest cloud collaboration solutions that ensure privacy, compliance, and security at all times.

Join the Nextcloud Awards 2026 ceremony, live at the Nextcloud Summit

With growing concerns about the resilience of centralized IT infrastructure and data privacy, it’s time to recognize those who make a real difference in pushing forward digital sovereignty.

That’s why we have set up the Nextcloud Awards, ensuring recognition for people, organizations, and projects that are actively working towards a future where users — not corporations — control their data.

The Nextcloud Awards winners will be presented live at the Nextcloud Summit 2026.
