Apps are one of the most significant components that make up Nextcloud. We are improving the Nextcloud app store to encourage app developers to show off their creative programming talent. There is more room for improvement of course and we welcome contributions and ideas.
If you are a new app developer here is a page to help you get started!
Now, attention please!
Who’s got an idea for the next great app in the Nextcloud app store? We are announcing a friendly contest between all developers who want to participate by building an app for Nextcloud.
And the winner is…
Everybody is a winner 🙂 All developers that have developed an app for the contest will get a free venue ticket for the Nextcloud conference! On top of that, Nextcloud provides travel and accommodation funding for the developer that has built the winning app, which will also get support from Nextcloud!
Rules are rules!
Just publish your new app anytime after this announcement, until August 29, and you automatically participate in the contest 😉
Voting process
All app developers can vote; a team of Nextcloud GmbH engineers will vote and third, the app store score will be taken into account. The one that has the highest average score will be the winning app!
