Nextcloud will take stage at this year’s Open Source Experience in Paris, running from December 6-7, 2023.
Frank Karlitschek, Nextcloud’s CEO and Founder, will discuss what the AI revolution means for Open Source, Open Tech and Open Societies. Over the past year, we’ve seen the emergence of AI systems such as ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, Dall-E and others. This prompts a number of questions and challenges within the open source community. How can we ensure that AI systems don’t discriminate against underrepresented minorities? What is the carbon footprint, and is AI reliable? This session will cover current open source AI functionality in Nextcloud’s collaborative content management platform, as well as our AI ethical framework. At Nextcloud, we are committed to developing ethical and fully open source AI systems.
