Digital collaboration platform provider Nextcloud and the world’s largest independent email provider Open-Xchange have extended their partnership agreement. Users of Nextcloud Enterprise subscription can now choose to include Dovecot Pro email server software, part of the Open-Xchange group of companies.
Nextcloud will offer a Nextcloud Groupware version bundled with Dovecot Pro, a fully supported email backend that is already the platform of choice of the world’s largest telcos, internet service providers (ISPs) and hosters. This integration is designed to provide a cohesive and streamlined experience, allowing users to manage their email, files, and collaborative projects all in one place.
With more than four million server installations and 75 per market share, Dovecot is the world’s leading email backend platform. Dovecot Pro offers a full-service email platform that delivers dynamic scalability, high performance, efficient utilization of hardware.
