What to expect

The Nextcloud Community Conference is all about collaboration and innovation. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:

  • Inspiring keynotes: Hear from thought leaders on topics like the EU AI Act and digital sovereignty through open source.
  • Hands-on workshops: From accessibility to ExApp development, dive deep into practical skills.
  • Lightning talks: Quick, inspiring sessions to discover new ideas and projects.
  • Nextcloud Hub 25 Autumn launch: Be the first to experience our biggest release of the year!
  • Contributor Week: Four extra days to code, design, and plan with the global Nextcloud community.

What to bring?

  • Lanyards: In light of sustainability, we would ask attendees who have come before to bring their lanyard. If you haven’t been before, don’t worry, we will have lanyards and badges for you to wear.
  • Nextcloud T-shirt: If you have a Nextcloud T-shirt, please bring and wear it! If not, then there will be T-shirts available.
  • Headphones: There will be free time and areas to work in, so be sure to bring your own ear buds or headphones if that’s your thing to get in the zone.
  • Laptop (+ charger): You will need to bring your own laptop if you want to use one, as we will not have ones for rent or borrowing.

Event venue

The conference takes place at bUm, a vibrant community space by the canal in Kreuzberg, Berlin.

bUm is a place for social movements, for commitment to freedom, equality and a society based on solidarity in which people stand up for each other. Read their full Attitude & Awareness guide.
