Are you looking forward to this year’s Nextcloud Community Conference in Berlin? Our agenda is once again packed with opportunities for valuable discussions, hands-on sessions, and meaningful networking.

If you live in or close to Berlin, you can support this event as a volunteer. By helping with tasks like registering guests, handing out merch, and supporting our Q&A sessions, you gain practical experience in how to organize and run an open source conference.

What you need to know about the Nextcloud Community Conference 2026

The Nextcloud Community Conference is all about learning, discovering, coding, designing, and enjoying time with other people from the community. It takes place over the weekend, with the Nextcloud Contributor Week following directly the week after. You can join either one of them, or both.

Become a volunteer and help organize an open source event

To ensure everything runs smoothly, we are calling on passionate volunteers like you to join our team. Whether you are a seasoned Nextcloud veteran or new to the community, your enthusiasm and skills can make a significant impact. As a volunteer, you cloud help with tasks like:

• Helping out at the registration table: Greeting guests, handing out swag, providing information, etc.
• Assisting with the technical support of keynote speakers
• Passing around the mic for Q&A after keynotes and panel sessions

You can either go for a short shift that gives you enough time to also participate in workshops and keynotes or a full shift if you’re mainly at the conference to support the Nextcloud team.

If you would like to support the Nextcloud Community Conference as a volunteer, please fill out the application form. You’ll receive an email from us letting you know if you’ve been accepted for this event.
