We’re excited to announce that Nextcloud will be exhibiting and speaking at the 10th annual Zukunftskongress, also known as the Future Congress State & Administration, in Berlin, Germany.
Hosted by Germany’s Federal Ministry of the Interior and Homeland (BMI), this event attracts nearly 2,000 key executives from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Nextcloud will be returning this year to showcase how governments can become digitally sovereign and safeguard confidential data of its administration, citizens and contacts with Nextcloud Hub. Governments are increasingly moving away from foreign cloud providers amid rising concerns about digital sovereignty and Nextcloud has emerged as the most deployed self-hosted private cloud solution in government.

This presentation introduces Nextcloud Hub as a digitally sovereign collaboration platform. Both the data protection aspects and the innovative AI functions will be covered.
In addition, various case studies will focus on how Nextcloud can be used in different scenarios in the administration.
The German federal administration and other European and non-European governments now rely on Nextcloud. German state administrations and educational and research institutions now also operate their own Nextcloud instances. This presentation gives a practical overview of why on premise cloud file sync and share is becoming increasingly important and what the success factors are.
