Moving away from Microsoft Office raises two questions: will your files still look right, and will your teams keep working without disruption? This webinar answers both by putting Microsoft Office next to the new Nextcloud Office, powered by Euro-Office, a sovereign open source office suite built in Europe. You’ll see where the two match, where they differ, and what that means for your organization.
Join João Cortez, Sales Engineer at Nextcloud, as he walks through both suites side by side and demos Nextcloud Office live. He’ll show how it handles the documents, spreadsheets, and presentations your teams work with every day, in the browser and in the new desktop app.
What you’ll learn in this webinar:
- How Nextcloud Office and Microsoft Office compare: what’s the same and what’s different
- How Nextcloud Office opens and edits your Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files and keeps their layout and formatting
- How you can co-edit files in real time, from the browser or the new desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Why an open source suite built in Europe keeps your documents under your control, and what that means for GDPR
- A live demo with documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDFs
- A live Q&A where you can ask about features, rollout, and user adoption
Who is this for?
This webinar is for IT managers, IT decision-makers, and operations managers who choose the software their teams use, and for public sector administrators in municipalities, public offices, and universities. You don’t need a technical background to follow along. You’ll leave knowing what Nextcloud Office can do today and if it can replace Microsoft Office in your organization.
Can’t attend live? The webinar will be recorded and shared with all registrants.
