    With nearly a decade of positive experience using Nextcloud, JvM trusted the platform to deliver the foundation for a modern, scalable collaboration environment. As such, the IT team designed a new Nextcloud instance with stability, performance, and long-term scalability at its core.<\/p>\n

    The new instance was kept intentionally streamlined: no unnecessary dependencies, fewer risks of updates breaking workflows, and a stable \u201cworkhorse\u201d environment. At the same time, Nextcloud\u2019s modular architecture gave the IT team freedom to extend functionality as needed. With Nextcloud Office (Collabora), teams can co-edit documents securely on-premises. With federated sharing, files can move seamlessly across departments and even agencies, without leaving the protected environment.<\/p>\n

    Perhaps most importantly, Nextcloud\u2019s open-source, standards-based approach allowed integration with existing tools. Webex and Asana remained part of the daily workflow, but now tied into a sovereign platform that gave IT visibility and control.<\/p>\n

      • Collaboration is now centralized. Instead of juggling multiple SMB servers, nine agencies across the DACH region connect through one unified Nextcloud environment.<\/li>\n
      • Financially, the decision could save the agency over \u20ac300,000 annually in avoided Microsoft 365 licensing costs.<\/li>\n
      • Lastly, perhaps the biggest success is invisible: the silence of complaints. As the IT team put it, \u201cno news is good news.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
