La pandemia COVID-19, che si è sviluppata nell’ultimo anno, ha richiesto una serie di misure di isolamento sociale e di sicurezza senza precedenti, e quasi nessun aspetto della vita quotidiana è rimasto inalterato. Un’area che ha certamente visto notevoli cambiamenti a seguito del COVID-19 è il settore dell’istruzione. Quando le scuole e le università di tutto il mondo sono state costrette a chiudere i battenti per impedirne la diffusione, è stato necessario adottare metodi e tecnologie alternative quasi da un giorno all’altro. L’apprendimento online è diventato una necessità urgente, piuttosto che un’opzione. Molte organizzazioni sono passate a soluzioni di cloud pubblico, ma i problemi di privacy e conformità sono diventati presto evidenti e molte si sono pentite delle decisioni affrettate prese.

Per fortuna, ci sono delle soluzioni. Nextcloud offre una piattaforma di collaborazione di contenuti moderna e facile da usare, accessibile attraverso le interfacce mobile, desktop e web. Gli studenti, gli insegnanti e i ricercatori possono collaborare in tempo reale su documenti, chattare e partecipare a videochiamate, accedere alle loro e-mail o pianificare riunioni nei calendari.
