Minor releases for Nextcloud 20 and 19 were made available today!<\/h2>\n

Each of them has over a dozen changes and as usual we strongly recommend you update to ensure you have a secure and reliable content collaboration platform that respects your digital sovereignty!<\/p>\n

Nextcloud 20.0.8 and 19.0.9: what\u2019s new?<\/h2>\n

As always, minor releases include stability and security improvements that are designed to be a safe and quick upgrade.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> running web facing software without regular updates is risky. Please stay up to date with Nextcloud releases of both the server and its apps, for the safety of your data! Customers can always count on our upgrade support if needed!<\/p>\n

End of support for Nextcloud 18<\/h2>\n

This is a reminder that public support for Nextcloud 18 has ended and will no longer receive minor fixes or security updates.<\/p>\n

Note that Nextcloud 18<\/strong> is only used by a small minority of our users so it no longer benefits from as much testing as the newer releases, and with ever-changing demands and infrastructure, staying with a current release is the smart move.<\/p>\n

If you still run v18 or older versions that are already unmaintained (v17, 16 and so on), we recommend you to upgrade to Nextcloud 19 or 20. If for any reason you would like to keep using older versions, contact our team for long term support from Nextcloud GmbH so you can continue to receive security and stability updates.<\/p>\n
