Nextcloud turns 8 today! It is hard to believe that it has been that long \u2014 time flies when you’re having fun, they say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ve achieved a ton in those 8 years, going from a small startup to a team well over 100, from the unknown to the leading on-premises collaboration platform, from a file sync & share to a full-stack ecosystem, and so much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in all that, we brought freedom and privacy to tens of millions of users and tens of thousands of businesses and local and federal government organizations. We are, of course, incredibly proud of that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, none of that would have been possible without the wholehearted support of our amazing community. From coders and designers to translators and testers – everybody is part of this success and we are grateful for your contributions. Together, we’re standing stronger against the Big Tech firms that aim to hoover up our data!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
